Mannheim Steamroller concert was amazing. A talented performer and a genuine human being, she is a great combination of a BOSS! I don't have enough good things to say about. I was no happy with Ticketmaster, on the other hand. I bought these tickets over 3 years ago and my seats were unwillingly changed about 2 weeks before the concert. I bought my original tickets at one price point (not cheap) and my new seats were about a third of the cost and not as good. I didn't get any money refunded for the difference in the price of the seats. If this happens to me again through Ticketmaster, I will have to drop them.

What a hilarious man! Mannheim Steamroller's written work is a treat to hear. He not only entertained us with recent entries from his "diary" but also read some current, published pieces. We were thrilled to finally see and hear Mannheim Steamroller in person and would gladly spend the money to do it again.
During the actual "show," he spent a good two hours entertaining the audience. Additionally, he arrived early and stayed very late to sign copies of his books and chat with people. Each person who waited in the long and slow line felt rewarded for the effort, I'd venture to say. He was charming and humble, asked questions of his fans to get to know them better, let his food get cold while he signed and schmoozed, and thanked people for coming out to the show.
My partner, not familiar with his work before, is now an enthusiastic fan. I had ranted about his genius and told her he is perfectly crazy (in his nothing-is-sacred sort of way). I guess she had expected him to be something of a snobbish celebrity, but we were both struck by how accessible he made himself to everyone and how down-to-Earth he is.
We kind of wish he *would* run for President.
